About GTUK
Global Taekwon-Do United Kingdom (GTUK) is one of the largest traditional Taekwondo associations in the UK, with a wide network of clubs ranging from Scotland to Cornwall. The association is affiliated with the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) under Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa and is a member of the British Taekwondo Council (BTC), the National Governing Body for the sport.
The GTUK was founded by its President, Grand Master Roy Oldham (9th Degree), who has dedicated over 50 years to the art. Grand Master Oldham was a direct student of Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha – the "Father of British Taekwondo" – and was famously one of the UK's first twelve Black Belts, a group known historically as the "12 Disciples."
